In English: Last Sunday I decided to try to locate a carving. A couple days earlier in some online forum I read about a rock carving which depicts a viking ship. Some people had seen it 20 years earlier. Maybe it’s really old carving, but it of course could be somewhat new. Anyway, I thought it’d be nice to search it and take some photos of it. After walking about half way there I remembered how boring walking actually is and decided to do something else. :-) In this video I’m at Porvoo’s Hamari taking some landscape photos. This video was recorded with GoPro HERO3 White Edition. Photos were taken with Nikon D5100. Photos:

Suomeksi: Viime sunnuntaina yritin paikallistaa kaiverruksen. Muutamia päiviä aikaisemmin olin lukenut eräältä keskustelupalstalta kuinka Hamarin suunnalla sijaitsee johonkin kallioon kaiverrettu viikinkilaivan kuva. Joku kirjoitti nähneensä sen 20 vuotta aikaisemmin. Se saattaa olla hyvinkin vanha kaiverrus, tai ehkä se on uudempaa tuotantoa. Joka tapauksessa ajattelin lähteä katsastamaan asian ja valokuvaamaan sen. Kun olin köpötellyt noin puoliväliin älysin, että käveleminen on aika tylsää hommaa. :-/ Siksi jäin videossa näkyvälle paikalle Porvoon Hamariin ottamaan maisemakuvia. Nauhoitin tämän videon GoPro HERO3 White Editionilla. Valokuvia otin Nikon D5100:lla. Kuvia:
