If you search from Google what is the maximum flying speed of Yak-9, you might read that some D variant should go 332 mph in low altitudes according to Chuck Hawks’ website. How Stuff Works has a page about Yak-9. At the bottom of that page is a box with specifications of Yak-9D, which mention 359 mph as top speed. In Heroes & Generals fighter planes don’t look like they’re going that fast. This time our Soviet fighter squadron was wiped mainly because of AA fire. Nowadays anything is AA in H&G, even Panzer III. :-)
