Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad (Arad2 with halftracks), dur 18:20 mins

This video belongs to the category: General gameplay clip.

Thanks, Mr. John Chalabi, for Arad2. Arad2 is a remake of an old map, called Arad, that was presented in Red Orchestra: Ostfront several years ago. This is my first time playing Arad2 with halftracks. Germans have a Hanomag halftrack. It’s official name is something like Sonderzlaarhgbbg 251 or sumthing equally disturbing, as is the usual case with German words. Russians have a neat little thingy called Universal Carrier. (If I’m correct, Universal Carriers were used by the Russians in WW2 through Lend-Lease program. So it wasn’t originally designed/built by USSR.) Both transport vehicles can move very fast even in rough terrain. Both have a machine gun at the front side.

35 I’m selecting team and class
25 Spawning near halftracks
40 Inside German halftrack as a passenger
45 A Russian tank goes by
30 Approaching enemy tank with a satchel
30 Creeping closer to a building in South Village (D)
20 Soviets trying to take D back
40 Universal Carrier drove to D
00 Russians put a rocket strike to D, no effect
00 Enemy halftrack again to D, this time got inside building
00 I’ve decided to clear that house, approaching…
20 Placing a smoke gnade for distraction
00 Chasing enemy tank, but then Toro aims and shoots me
55 Driving a German halftrack
33 I’m at D again
15 Seems like a Russian here, suddenly Katjusha strike
55 This round ends in Axis victory
