According to World of Guns the famous Flak 88 has 119 parts, including the shield, to be removed when field stripping it. It’s surprisingly complex thing, but that is a repeating pattern in many German designs of that time. Anyway, in this video a 88mm Flugabwehrkanone will be disassembled in it’s main components/parts and then assembled again. (Assembling begins from 04:41.) First thing to remove is the huge frontal shield. After that it’s time to detach optical sights and what not. Very fascinating stuff. :-)
