Cheneux is the name of this map. I joined mid-round and chose to go to the team that had fewer players. At first I couldn’t believe there were so many players online! This mod hasn’t been very lively in recent years.

One of the new things in DH 6.0 is the ability to choose where to spawn and to do some loadout modifications for the chosen role. For example a squad leader could choose to use either a semiauto rifle or SMG, or tanker could choose to cruise either with Cromwell or with Jackson. Loadout options and map spawns of course depend on what map is played.

In Cheneux Germans are apparently defending against American attack. Americans have at maximum one antitank guy, two machine gunners, two squad machine gunners, two tankers (with one tank shared?), as well as one sniper, mortar operator and observer. And this lot is commanded by two Sgt’s.
