Driving in Helsinki with GoPro HERO3: White Edition as a dashcam (night time), dur 15:05 mins
This video belongs to the category: Random stuff, cannot categorize.
I find the word repulsive quite suitable for the weather and climate here in Finland. If it’s not raining something, it’s windy, cold, dark or wet. This time (end of January 2014) it was just cold and dark in Helsinki. This clip was recorded with GoPro HERO3: White Edition action camera as a dashcam. It was attached in front of car’s windscreen. The camera is inside waterproof box which could partly explain why the sound is so bad. If anything, you’ll see how this GoPro version handles filming in very early morning before sunrise, when it’s dark and when stuff is moving quite fast. This clip was recorded with 720p quality and 60 frames per second.
The beginning of this video, 1st minute or so, is edited so that original sounds are replaced with something else, and the video track is merged with another driving video — that’s why light sources appear weird. Original sounds and raw video are “activated” in point 01:14.
